Arsenal’s Calum Chambers SURPRISES CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS AT UCH FOR CHARITY SPREAD A SMILE
Arsenal first-team Defender and England player Calum Chambers, visited
teenagers and children at University College Hospital for Spread a Smile
on 13th August 2015.
Chambers who is 20 years old, visited The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit T11,
a ward for teenagers as well as T12, a children’s ward.
Calum Chambers commented, “It was amazing to meet all of the
inspirational children and teenagers on the wards.”
Mohammed Aslam, 19 years old, who is being treated on the Teenage Cancer
Trust ward said, “It was amazing to meet Calum Chambers and to have him
visit the ward. It was great hanging out with a Premier League superstar.”
Vanessa Crocker, Director of Spread a Smile said, “We were thrilled to
take Calum Chambers into UCH to visit all of the football fans. He had a
great time playing FIFA and chatting with them. It really took their
minds off their treatment and serious conditions.”
