RAISES £700 TO ENTERTAIN SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN IN HOSPITAL
Over 100 children and their parents raised over £700 at the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley on Mothering Sunday, 15th March at a showing of Disney’s Frozen Sing-Along.
of the children, dressed as their favourite Frozen characters, enjoyed
singing on stage with Elsa and Anna from Let it Glow Events, who donated
their services for free.
Including money raised in a collection, £700 was raised which will pay for a hospital visit by six entertainers.
Crocker, Director of Spread a Smile said, “It was wonderful to see the
children having a fantastic time singing along with Frozen, a film which
really seems to capture their imaginations. It was a great way of
raising money to entertain children in hospital. It is so important to
involve children in fundraising for those less fortunate than them, even
at a young age.”
