Marina runs a marathon for Spread a Smile
Marina Constantinou, one of our talented face painters, is challenging herself to do “The London 2 Brighton 100K (62miles)” on the 24 th May for Spread a Smile. In The London 2 Brighton race, she will be walking overer two days starting in Richmond Park and walking to the finish line in Brighton Race Course.
Marina has given her time since we started to paint the faces of children at Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College Hospital. She brings joy and happiness to children who are undergoing treatment with conditions including cancer and heart, lung and kidney related illnesses.
Marina said, “There is nothing more rewarding than face painting the children when I visit the hospitals. For a brief moment, the children are whisked away from the hospital environment. It’s wonderful to see the smiles of their faces.”
If you would like to sponsor Marina’s amazing efforts, you can do so here.
