Pop Star Jack Savoretti sings and plays for teenagers in hospital
Spread a Smile were delighted to take singer Jack Savoretti into University College Hospital on 9th February to visit seriously unwell teenagers on the Teenage Cancer Trust unit.
Singer Jack Savoretti, who recently appeared on the Graham Norton Show, and had a Top 10 album with, ‘Written in Scars,’ sang and played for teenagers on the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at University College Hospital, bringing a wonderful highlight to their weeks and breaking up the monotony of their treatment.
Jack Savoretti said, ‘It was such a pleasure to spend the morning with some of the bravest and coolest people I have ever met. Thank you so much for having me.’
Vanessa Crocker, co-Founder of Spread a Smile said, ‘It was amazing having Jack Savoretti visit the seriously unwell teenagers at UCH. It was a true highlight of their week and really diverted them from their time in hospital.’
