Spread a Smile visit to KidZania
Spread a Smile took 27 children and teenagers plus their families to newly opened KidZania in Westfield London Shopping Centre on 2nd September.
KidZania is a child-sized city for kids with buildings, streets, shops and transport where they can engage in more than 60 real life role-play activities. It features replicas of the most representative aspects of a real city and it even has its own currency, kidZos.
The four-hour visit included activities such as Aviation and Acting Academies, a Chocolate Factory, Fire & Rescue Unit, Police Department and even a Science Lab.
Claire Peate, mother of Oliver and Ben, who along with father Greg came on the trip said, ‘The day was amazing & the boys loved it so much. They tried almost everything & ended up with nearly 100 kidzos to spend each at the department store. I cannot believe the place it’s amazing…..& how cute my little Ollie was as cabin crew serving passengers their trays of food – an ingenious idea for kids.
‘As always you surpass yourselves. Your super efforts, kindness & genuine care for everyone you help always humbles me. It’s a real pleasure to see you each & every time & we have yet more precious memories because of you all. Thank you is just not enough.’
I can't really explain just what a great charity it is and we as a family are grateful that you Let us make special memories. I wish we had known about you when my brother was alive. Please tell everyone.xxx
